Participant Registration Agreement
September 28 – October 1, 2026
This agreement is between you and Maria Ortiz / The Collective Woman. Before your seat is confirmed, please read this fully — not because it is fine print, but because this experience is built on intention, and this document reflects that.
By completing your registration, you are confirming that you have read, understood, and agreed to everything below.
1. Your Investment
The investment for The Collective Woman Retreat covers your full two-day, three-night experience, including your stay, all meals during the two retreat days, all sessions, your 1:1 with Maria, and content creation.
Your seat is not held until initial full/part payment is received. If you selected a payment plan, all installments must be completed before arriving to the retreat.
If you chose to finance your investment through a third-party provider such as Afterpay, Klarna, or any other buy-now-pay-later service, that agreement is solely between you and that provider. The Collective Woman is not responsible for any fees, interest, declined payments, or disputes arising from your third-party financing arrangement. Your obligation to that provider exists independently of this agreement — and regardless of any changes to your participation in the retreat.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that life happens. Here is how we handle it:
Full refund: If you cancel on or before June 30, 2026, you will receive a full refund of all payments made.
After June 30, 2026: No refunds will be issued. However, your investment is not lost. You may transfer it to a future coaching opportunity with Maria Ortiz, or you may transfer your seat to another woman (with advance notice and approval by Maria Ortiz). Seat transfers must be confirmed in writing no later than September 1, 2026.
In the unlikely event that The Collective Woman Retreat must be cancelled or rescheduled by Maria Ortiz, all participants will have the option to transfer to the rescheduled date or if you can not attend the new date, you may receive a full refund.
3. Photo, Video & Content Consent
The Collective Woman is a living experience — and part of that story will be documented. By attending, you give permission for:
Photos and video to be taken during the retreat, including candid and group moments.
This content to be used across The Collective Woman's marketing, social media, website, and promotional materials.
Your name, likeness, and general story (not personal disclosures) to be referenced in connection with the retreat.
If there is a specific moment or session you would prefer not to be photographed, please speak with Maria and we will honor that request. You will never be asked to share anything publicly that you have not consented to.
4. Confidentiality — What Stays in the Room
This is a sacred space. Women in this room will be vulnerable, honest, and brave. That is the whole point.
By attending, you agree to:
Keep all personal disclosures, stories, and business details shared by other participants strictly confidential.
Honor the trust of every woman in this room as you would want yours honored.
What is shared in this room, stays in this room. This is not a policy — it is a promise we each make to one another.
5. Community Standards & Code of Conduct
The Collective Woman is built on the belief that every woman in this room belongs here. We expect all participants to show up with that same conviction — for themselves and for each other.
You agree to:
Engage with respect, openness, and a genuine commitment to the experience.
Refrain from behavior that disrupts, demeans, or diminishes any other participant.
Honor the facilitation and direction of Maria Ortiz and her team throughout the retreat.
Maria Ortiz reserves the right to ask any participant to leave the retreat — without refund — if their behavior is disruptive or harmful to the group experience. The safety and integrity of this room always comes first.
6. Liability Release
By attending The Collective Woman Retreat, you acknowledge that:
You are participating voluntarily and take personal responsibility for your experience.
The Collective Woman and Maria Ortiz are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property that may occur during the retreat.
Any personal or professional decisions you make as a result of attending this retreat are your own. The content and coaching provided are experiential and educational — they do not constitute licensed legal, financial, or mental health advice.
7. A Note From Maria
I did not build this room so you could sit in it quietly. I built it so you could finally say the things you have been carrying and hear them land safely.
This agreement exists to protect that. To protect you. To protect every woman who shows up ready to do the real work.
I am honored you are here.
